We’ll meet at the Randall Davey Audubon Center on the Upper Canyon Road in Santa Fe at 4pm on Thursday, Sept 24. Over two hours, we'll learn the bones of wildlife tracking and open our senses to our creativity.
Here’s what we’ll do together:
- Follow the stories of our animal kin through the land
- Gather poems along the way, speaking spontaneous words
- Make up names and new language
- Imitate animal movement with our bodies
- Stop. Just luxuriate in smell, texture, sound
- End with meditation, movement, dance, and creative sharing (with some tea and snacks)
This is a practice of decolonizing our relationship with the natural world—discovering the million miracles we overlook in our extravagant universe.
